We went to see where President Abraham Lincoln was born, and the childhood cabin he spoke of before they moved states. The log cabin is tiny! I can’t imagine living in such a small place with a whole family. I am blessed to have more space. The area was beautiful and enjoyable to explore. The childhood cabin has a giant area in the back that was very peaceful. There is a restaurant at that location, but it was closed so we couldn’t try the food. I haven’t learned about President Lincoln much in school, but it looks like he was awesome! Definitely worth a visit if you are interested in his life. Don’t forget to ask about working through the junior ranger badge here!
